Ohana Child Care is a family owned and ran business, it was established in early 2020 during the Corona virus pandemic. We wanted to help parents that were essential workers that didn't have anywhere to take their kids while they worked because of the lock down shutting down schools and day cares. We take all the necessary precautions when dropping off or picking up your child or children, we check temps, use hand sanitizer, and make sure a kid or parent isn't showing any signs of being sick weather its the common cold, flu, or possible corona virus we make sure to keep the kids, staff, and parents all safe from becoming ill and possibly spreading anything. If there is a possible exposure it is our policy to have the person (parent or child) set up an appointment to get tested and can not return until test come back negative or there has been a 2 week hiatus to ensure there will be no spread with other kids or parents. We do work with single parents or low income families so they can get the proper child care they need at a price that wont leave them without any money for other bills. The company is Ran by Delilia Kinch (owner) her husband Dallas Kinch (cook & maintenance) and their 4 kids Noah - 19 (shift lead), Nemo - 17 (manager), Vante - 16 (janitorial), Pursaus - 13 (back up for shift change). Your child or children will be fed lunch every day at 1:00pm after nap, if your child is here before 7:30am they will be fed breakfast, if they are scheduled for pick up after 5:00pm they will be fed dinner and can also get a bath if that's what is requested. the age range for our child care starts at new born to 4yrs. the earliest a child can be dropped off is 5:00am and latest pick up time is 9:00pm. These hours are flexible based on agreement between owner and client. We are a 24/7 day care which means you can do over nights and weekends for an extra charge. All parents are required to do a walk through with their child before enrolling to make sure the child or children and parents are comfortable with every thing and the kids all get a long and how the child will react to the new environment. All parents are required to sign a contract before a child can be dropped off this is part of the enrollment process. we do ask that you inform us of any allergies or food that cant be consumed do to religious beliefs or you just don't want your child having certain things. Our family does not cook or consume pork not because of religious beliefs but because Delilia and Nemo can not eat it without having a bad reaction to it. All meals are prepared and served by certain times to keep the kids on a schedule and to provide some structure. We like to keep the kids on a certain schedule to allow them to get use to the place and so there isn't any questions on what they're supposed to be doing during the day. we provide Food, Snack, Mats & Cots, Blankets, Pillows, Diapers, Wipes, and can also start potty training. if you're enrolling a new born we ask you pack and bring a bag with formula or milk, diapers, blanket, and change of clothes.
